Orbit




Orbit, being the first game I ever made, with a team of 4 people, has a lot of flaws. However I think the design principles are used correctly.

Attempting to make something with a minimalist theme I tried to pull this theme to every aspect of the game. Controls, audio and visuals. (Visuals designed by a teammate). The use of only three buttons (spacebar, left and right arrow keys) made it very simple to get used to, and the mechanics of turn the planets and change gravitational attraction were well implemented.

Improvements, however, could be made with player feedback and the difficulty curve.
